I had driven pretty far from home, to Tupper Lake, in an old car when the transmission became very noisy. I was not sure the car would make it home so I called Counter's towing to ask about having the car returned home on a truck. We settled on a plan that had me driving the car while they agreed to come and rescue me should it become necessary. Knowing someone would come to my aid, if needed, gave me the peace of mind to head home in the old clunker. As luck would have, the transmission held together, the car is home, and will soon be repaired. Mark, at Counter's towing, was friendly and helpful. He has my thanks.
