My group comes to this restaurant every year when we camp out in Fish Creek Pond Campground. Food is good and the prices were reasonable. The only reason that I gave it only 3 stars was because of our waitress. The restaurant was short staffed on the night we visited. Our waitress was new at her job and behaved as if she was being punished.
Great place. Everything is made from scratch and very tasty. The staff is friendly and competent.
Too many items on menu, some are premade/frozen. Seafood is hit or miss. Good fish tacos, bad salmon. Beer selection is very good.
The waitress was rude from the moment we arrived. Stated how busy they were but we only added to the three people there. She had trouble taking my order even though the only thing I changed was no mushrooms. A bit later two more people arrived, she loudly stated Oh My God more people then told them to find their own seat. Then we waited nearing an hour for our food.
Good fresh food, with fresh fish shipped in several times a week. Unique items on the menu - superb sandwiches. It's down the road past the Wild Center, thus a little off the beaten track -but well worth the effort. We like to stop there every time we are in the area.
